The Olsens always seem to be five steps ahead of fashion. Their Pre-fall 2014 collection surprised everyone with older models wearing long a-line skirts, chunky and turtleneck sweaters, boxy coats, and fanny packs. It may sound frumpy as a whole, the twins seem to be having a nostalgic 90s moment, but the individual pieces are smart. Geared toward women 50 years and older, it's refreshing to see a collection with this type of age focus. There's plenty of black and luxurious materials, including a thick, fur coat. The tailored suits are just as sophisticated worn as separates and the hemlines are low enough for even the most conservative of women.
