Down the Rabbit Hole

May 5th I saw Alice in Wonderland in theaters. It was really cool with the special effects and I loved how different it was from the Disney version. Mia Wasikowska made Alice more adventurous and free-spirited than the previous naive and ditsy little girl of the 1951 film. My favorite parts were every time Alice met a new character, in some way or another, she would change her dress. Whether it was the Mad Hatter who rips her a new dress when she shrinks, or the Queen who has a brand new dress made for her tall frame, the dresses kept on transforming. Inspired by her ever changing wardrobe, I created some Alice looks of my own.

  5. Wonderful picks, especially the first, second and last. I love the 1800s inspired shoes as well, they were very fitting and added great vintage flair to the feminine, flowery dresses. :) You have a great eye, Jenny, keep it up!
